Elizabeth S. Swanson is a Senior Relationship Manager in Schwartz & Co.’s Institutional Services Department with 20+ years of experience.
She is responsible for oversight of our defined contribution plans. Beth has vast experience with plan governance, plan design, research and monitoring of investments and spearheading employee education programs.
As an integral part of the employee educational engagement, she travels routinely across the United States, conducting group educational meetings to groups, both small and large. Beth engages in individual investment consultations with employees focusing on (but not limited to) investment recommendations, market literacy, budgeting, student loans and general finance.
She began her career at H & R Block Financial Advisors, Inc. (formerly OLDE Discount Stockbrokers) as an associate in the Investment Company Approval Department. She was promoted to manager of the department within her first year. In addition to being a Registered Representative, she also holds licenses as a General Securities Principal, a Uniform Securities Agent, and a Registered Investment Adviser.
Beth currently volunteers her time to the social services organization Lighthouse of Oakland County serving on the Investment Committee.
Beth obtained her Masters of Finance at Walsh College. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She also graduated from Kimball High School.
